Multimedia Laboratory | University of Tsukuba

Our laboratory studies on media signal processing and media information processing especially focused on sound and electroencephalogram (EEG).
The main research topics are listed as follows.
  • [Acoustical Signal Processing]: separation and generation of speech/music signals
  • [Speech Information Processing]: recognition and understanding of speech/music signals, subjective and objective quality assessment, and QoE (Quality of Experience) evaluation
  • [Biological information processing]: separation, recognition, understanding
  • [Application system]: high-definition communication system, acoustical human-machine interface, e-learning system, and brain computer interface
